Research Abstract

In my clinical and research experiences, I have frequently observed a disconnect between evidence-based knowledge and integration into real-world clinical practice. Behavioral change at the health system, clinician, and patient levels often lags behind published evidence by several years or even decades. I am developing expertise in implementation research in order to close this gap between evidence and application. In particular, I am interested in studying strategies to effectively adopt, adapt, and integrate evidence-based health-interventions into low-resource health settings.
