Research Abstract

My major research interests are in breast cancer pathogenesis, molecular genetics, and understanding the tumor microenvironment in breast cancer. My research goals are to harness alterations in immune cell types and functions in breast cancer for development of predictive biomarkers and immunotherapies. My research will investigate these alterations in immune biomarkers, as well as pathologic data, in common and rare subtypes of breast cancer and their precursor lesions, to better predict individual responses and tailor therapies.
