Research Abstract

My primary research interests lie in the area of medical decision-making, covering applications as well as methods for cost-effectiveness and decision analysis. My research uses operations research methods to improve clinical decision-making and inform health policies. Examples of ongoing/past projects include optimal timing of breast biopsy after a mammography exam, optimal surveillance strategies for hepatocellular carcinoma, and cost-effectiveness of hepatitis C screening and treatment.
