Research Abstract

Dr. Young is an active researcher in advanced brain imaging with MRI and optical techniques focused on clinical translation of advanced functional and physiologic MRI techniques for assessing brain tumor bloodflow, invasion, cellularity, oxygenation (DSC PWI, DWI, DTI, BOLD, ASL and volumetrics) and clinical translation of image guided stereotactic minimally invasive optical imaging techniques for diagnosis and therapy of brain tumor.
