The DF/HCC Lung Cancer Program’s 2024 Symposium on 11/4/24 at the Liberty Hotel focused on next-generation immunotherapies and featured keynote presentations from Dr. Natalie Vokes of MD Anderson and Dr. Antoni Ribas of UCLA.
A significant part of the event was the panel discussion titled "Living with Lung Cancer: A Patient’s Perspective," where patient advocates provided personal insights into the realities of living with lung cancer, emphasizing the importance of patient-centered approaches in treatment and care. Researchers across the DF/HCC consortium presented their valuable perspectives, and there was an engaging debate on the role of adjuvant therapy following pathological complete response (pathCR). The day concluded with a poster session and reception, facilitating networking and collaboration among attendees.
