RFA: Projects/Cores/Network Coordinating Center - Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network (U19)

July 07, 2020

DF/HCC is coordinating an application in response to NCI NOT-CA-20-073 for Projects, Cores, and a National Coordination Center for the NCI Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network (U19). Proposals will be reviewed and scored by the DF/HCC leadership committee.

Projects, DF/HCC Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network (U19)
The DF/HCC Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network (GTN) application will contain a minimum of 2 projects focused, per the FOA, on small molecules for treatment of adult glioblastoma.  Please see https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-CA-20-073.html for project specifications which detail that agents must be in “lead optimization status” and must be “new” to the treatment of glioblastoma.  Utilization of existing DF/HCC cores or resources is encouraged.  The U19 projects must not overlap with any existing DF/HCC P50/SPORE projects and must focus on IDH-wild type glioblastoma in adults.  If you are interested please send a one-page (maximum) project proposal for the DF/HCC GTN.  The proposals will be reviewed and scored by the DF/HCC leadership committee.  Please submit applications to Dr. Deborah Goff at Deborah_Goff@dfci.harvard.edu by August 1, 2020.

Cores, DF/HCC Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network (U19)
The DF/HCC Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network (GTN) application will contain 1-2 cores focused, per the FOA, on small molecules for treatment of adult glioblastoma.  Please see https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-CA-20-073.html for U19 component details.  Cores that synergize with the DF/HCC U19 projects are required.  The U19 cores must not overlap with any existing DF/HCC P50/SPORE cores and must focus on IDH-wild type glioblastoma in adults. The applications will be reviewed and scored by the DF/HCC leadership committee.  Please submit applications to Dr. Deborah Goff at Deborah_Goff@dfci.harvard.edu by August 1, 2020.

Network Coordination Center, DF/HCC Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network (U19)
The NCI Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network (GTN) will include one Network Coordination Center to provide network harmonization on the scientific and clinical activities of all 5 network sites.  Please see https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-CA-20-073.html for more details on the GTN Network Coordination Center.  Please note that inclusion of this component of a U19 is optional and will depend on interest in this RFA and the overall scientific and logistical strength of the proposed coordination center. The applications will be reviewed and scored by the DF/HCC leadership committee.  Please submit applications to Dr. Deborah Goff at Deborah_Goff@dfci.harvard.edu by August 1, 2020.
