NCI has just released a time sensitive Request for Information (RFI) seeking input from all parties who may be interested in the re-competition of the NCI’s Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNLCR). For more information on the re-competition please visit: https://www.cancer.gov/about-nci/contracts/fnlcr-acquisitions/fedbizopps-notices.
This is a request for information (RFI) NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, capability statements, or quotations.
As a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), the Frederick National Lab provides rapid response capabilities and one-of-a-kind resources for the biomedical research community on behalf of the National Cancer Institute (NCI), other National Institutes of Health (NIH) institutes and other Federal agencies. Entities authorized to operate, manage, or administer an FFRDC include: a university, a consortium of universities, other not-for-profit or nonprofit organizations, industrial firms as autonomous organizations (identified separately from any parent organization), or industry/academia partnerships.
To ensure broad awareness and engagement for this opportunity, we ask you to share this notice within other parts of your institution or to additional research networks. Questions about the RFI can be addressed to Lisa Bielen at FNLCR_ACQinfo@nih.gov with the subject line entitled: “Question to RFI Notice Number: HHS-NIH-NCI-RFI-MOSB-75N91020R00062-1.”
