Introduction to bulk RNA-seq Data Analysis (Part I) (from raw data to count matrices)

January 21, 2025

We are excited to announce an “Introduction to bulk RNA-seq Data Analysis (Part I)  (from raw data to count matrices)” workshop!

This online workshop will instruct participants on how to design a bulk RNA-seq experiment, and efficiently manage & analyze the data using the command-line interface and high-performance computing (HPC) on HMS-RC’s O2 cluster. This workshop covers the first part of the bulk RNA-seq analysis workflow, from raw sequencing data to quantifying gene expression.

Please note that this workshop has a HBC and Command Line Interface pre-requisite and registrants should have taken the Shell for Bioinformatics workshop recently

The hands-on workshop will be held via Zoom on February 4, 7 and 11, 2025.

Please note the format of our Intro to bulk RNA-seq workshop. Between the three online meetings, we will require workshop participants to spend between 3-5 hours on reading and exercises! The Zoom sessions will focus on going over exercises, discussing questions and teaching. Please make sure you take the learner-centric workshop format into account when you sign up.
