RECAP | CURE Winter Family Engagement Event
February 25, 2025
The CURE Program had its Winter Family Engagement Event on February 6th where students from all three current cohorts of the YES for CURE program gathered with their family members and supporters to connect, learn, and set intentions for this year’s new cycle of programming.
Cohort 8, the latest additions to the YES for CURE community, participated in interactive program orientation activities while Cohort 6 and 7 received an engaging presentation on cancer epidemiology and environmental justice by Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Associate Professor of Environmental Reproductive Epidemiology Dr. Tamarra James-Todd
These bi-annual engagement events are a unique part of the YES for CURE program, held to build a sense of community among students and their supporters as well as keep them informed on relevant cancer-related issues.
