Tibrine da Fonseca is the Project Director for the Boston Community Health Collaborative at Boston Public Health Commission. The Boston Community Health Collaborative is a partnership of Boston health institutions, public health, and community organizations working to improve the health and well-being of Boston residents through a coordinated community health needs assessment and improvement planning process. Tibrine has a deep commitment to working with Boston’s diverse communities to  strengthen community voice and decision-making through community health planning processes. She completed her PhD in Sociology at Northeastern University and her dissertation examined the role of place and multilevel immigration policy-making in shaping the health practices and advocacy efforts of immigrant-serving organizations in the greater Boston region during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In her free time she enjoys baking with her kids, reading, and learning new languages.
