Ovarian SPORE Letter of Intent Due June 30th, 2025

On behalf of the Dana Farber Harvard Cancer Center Gynecologic Cancer program leaders, Cesar Castro, Alan D’Andrea, and Ursula Matulonis, we are seeking Project ideas for an Ovarian Cancer Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) application to be submitted in January 2026.   This Ovarian Cancer SPORE grant application will support investigator-initiated translational research that will contribute to improved prevention, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of ovarian cancer.  The research supported through the SPORE mechanism must be translational and come from research on human biology “using cellular, molecular, structural, biochemical, and/or genetic experimental approaches” per NCI funding opportunity PAR-23-284.  Importantly, the Project ideas should lead to clinical applicability such as an ongoing clinical trial or an impending clinical trial that will be accomplished within the 5 years of the grant

This Letter of Intent for a Project idea should be comprised of the following:
1) Title of the Project
2) Introduction, including any preliminary data and Project rationale
3) Proposed specific aims
4) Proposed Project leaders (typically 2 or 3 leaders) and their titles, institutions
5) State any other key research personnel (and their titles, institutions)
