GI SPORE Announcement - Seeking Interest

Harvard Cancer Consortium (HCC) investigators plan to apply for a GI focused SPORE in September 2026. Basic, translational, and clinical investigators from all HCC institutions are invited to submit project ideas. New project ideas are highly encouraged. The SPORE leaders anticipate selecting three projects (each with one clinical and one lab-based Co-PI) as well as 3 Cores. Interested investigators should email Andrew_Aguirre@dfci.harvard.edu and Bardeesy.Nabeel@MGH.HARVARD.EDU by April 1, 2026. The GI SPORE internal advisory board will convene in April to discuss project ideas, and selected applicants will be invited to present project proposals and discuss next steps.
