Researchers

The Initiative to Eliminate Cancer Disparities (IECD) aims to support research on cancer disparities, particularly within disease-based programs. This section contains resources to further these goals and to support researchers and staff across DF/HCC. You will find more information about funding and fellowship opportunities, participation in seminar series, and mentorship within DF/HCC including opportunities to mentor students through our Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) program.

The IECD has also compiled materials to support clinical investigators and research staff in addressing barriers to access to clinical trials. These resources are included in the Clinical Research Support section of the DF/HCC website. Current resources include a sample minority recruitment and outreach plan.
