Using the DF/HCC Policy Archive

The DF/HCC Policy Archive contains versions of DF/HCC Policies (previously called SOPs) that are no longer active, but that may be necessary references for audits and other reviews of research. The dates of release and archived dates for each version is listed; use the keyword field and/or the filter option to search for specific documents.

IMPORTANT: Archived documents are only found in this list and not included in search results of the general document library—where only active Policies, Operations, guidance documents, forms, and other resources are found. About the available file types
File Types
  • Form: Typically, a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF document containing fields that can be filled-in by the user
  • Guidance: A descriptive narrative offering advice on how to fill out a form correctly, or suggestions on how to manage a certain process
  • List: Contains organized text with reference information
  • Log: May contain lists of events (SAEs, deviations, etc.) or a list of revisions for a certain document
  • Policy: A document that contains binding requirements that must be followed by DF/HCC researchers
  • Resource: May be letters to sponsors, DEA letters, Glossaries, or other supplemental documents containing information that relates to research
  • Template: A form with suggested text and fields that can be filled in by the user to create their own similar document
  • Track Changes: A track-changed version of the document that shows exactly what has changed since the previous version
