Career Enhancement Program RFA

The DF/HCC Breast Cancer Specialized Program in Research Excellence (SPORE) seeks applications for Career Enhancement and Developmental Project Awards in Breast Cancer.

REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS: Career Enhancement Awards in Breast Cancer
AWARD AMOUNT:

One or two awards of approximately $50,000 direct costs

KEY DATES

APPLICATION DEADLINE: On or before Monday, December 2, 2019 at 5pm

AWARD DATE: January 15, 2020 – December 31, 2020

Eligibility: Harvard (including Broad Institute) faculty members at Instructor or Assistant Professor. Clinical, population or lab-based researchers are all eligible. Underserved minority investigators are strongly encouraged to apply.

Purpose: To develop the careers of young investigators committed to breast cancer.

AWARD AMOUNT: One or two awards of approximately $50,000 direct costs
KEY DATES:

APPLICATION DEADLINE: On or before Monday, December 2, 2019 at 5pm

AWARD DATE: January 15, 2020 – December 31, 2020

Eligibility: Harvard (including Broad Institute) faculty members at all levels (instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, or professor). Clinical, population or lab-based researchers are all eligible. Underserved minority investigators are strongly encouraged to apply.

Purpose: To advance high quality, novel, early-phase research, to foster new ideas in breast cancer research and to move research projects from a pilot stage to a level where external funding for more mature research is possible.
